Richard is an independent software consultant who provides business solutions with web technologies. He holds a BS in Computer Science and has over 15 years experience in architecting, designing, and developing successful applications. Realizing the potential that mobile apps hold, as well as a passion for technology, developing for the iPhone was the next logical step. After attending WWDC 2009, the decision was made to pursue iPhone application development full time. When he's not in front of his Mac, he enjoys spending time with his family, camping, mountain biking, international travel, and shopping for organic food.

Chris developed a keen interest in science at a young age, likely due to his parents' backgrounds in medicine and chemistry. While earning a B.S. in Chemistry he pursued programming at RIT's famed Computer Science House and various classes under the masterful guidance of Ken Reek, Andrew Tolmach, Richard Austin, Mike Zuhl, and others. His experience in real-time embedded systems at HP, Tektronix, GCA-Tropel, Ambric and IBM made iPhone programming a natural. He's still looking for a way to bring his beloved functional programming languages (OCaml and Erlang) into the mix with iPhone apps. Besides programming, Chris enjoys Kendo, carpentry, mountain biking, building with cob, board games, djembe drumming, and most of all his two kids.
